Here is my contribution for the ELTAM newsletter spring edition published in 2017. It is titled Edu games in the classroom. The article underlines the benefits and power of educational games and how they can transform the lessons into an interactive and engaging experience for the learners and contribute to successful learning scenario. Therefore, several educational games such as association, bingo, domino and computer games are showcased.   On final note, teachers are encouraged to integrate educational games in order to implement games during class time and benefit from its potential.

I was selected as a speaker  for the 15th ELTA Serbia conference  that took place in Singidunum University in Belgrade. My conference abstract was published in the conference program which contained more than 70 workshops, talks and conference talks corresponding to the its theme Awaken your curiosity. The conference gathered speakers from 18 different countries to share their knowledge and encourage educators as well their students to trigger curiosity.  

My workshop happened during the first day after the opening ceremony, the greeting speech and the first plenaries of the two-day conference. Precisely, it occurred on the 19th of May as indicated in the conference program.

На Третата Еду Конференција беше објави повик за изработка на постери за споделување на добри практики. Секој од учесниците можеше   да прикаже сопствен иновативен приод при реализација на одредена активност со цел да се збогатат  едукативните ресурси кои потоа може да се користат во наставата.

          Published poem at  IATEFL Slovenia Magazine

Withing the 9th ELTAM biannual conference there was a poetry competition. The conference was held in Struga beside the wonderful Ohrid lake as well as on the banks of the river Crni Drim. Struga is famous for an international poetry festival Struski veceri na poezijata (Struga Poetry Evenings). This was an inspiration for the organizing team to organize a poetry competition on the topic "Bridges not walls".  The poem had to contain one word from our mother tongue. I was very pleased to see my article published in BETA newsletter. Thank you BETA (Bulgarian English Teacher's Association) for including my article at the front pages of your esteemed magazine.

The article is titled Recommended teaching tools leading to  improved learning experience for young learners. At the introduction, the benefits of using teaching tools were addressed. Moreover, the importance of teaching tools was highlighted for facilitating as well as improving the  the learning experience. Several teaching tools were covered and discussed in the article. Firstly, hoops for classifying and dividing objects, words, images in different categories. Furthermore, dices with words for practicing the correct word order. To my great honor I was selected to be a speaker at the 9th ELTAM international conference. I am very delighted that an abstract from my workshop was published at ELTAM conference program.  The title of my workshop is "Inspire, engage and motivate learners with original teaching aids". The intention of my workshop is to inspire educators to refresh and try to implement new aids that will facilitate and transform the classroom into an interactive learning space.
