I could not believe that such a simple tool could bring so much enthusiasm and give a new dimension to my classes. I discovered it on one conference and I decided to examine how it will function in my classroom. Ever since then, my students constantly require to play with it.
Basically the bell could be used for two purposes. Firstly, as a sign for the beginning and end of some task during lesson time. Secondly, as a very efficient tool for playing the the famous show 5 second rule. Naturally, students prefer the second purpose, because it is dynamic and energetic quiz show. Participants have to answer question just in 5 seconds and when ready to ring the bell. Questions can cover any topic, depend on your lesson's aims and be adapted for different age groups.
