I decided to use my knowledge of movie making and participate in KREF. KREF is an international festival for educational movies accredited by the Ministry of education in Serbia. Educators from different countries could make a film and compete into the  3 different categories.

The festival intention was to encourage and promote quality teaching practices, to stimulate and improve positive school climate and to encourage exchange of creative and innovative edu practices.  The festival successfully accomplished its goals. Quality educational movies were created and  the best one received a statue on the  23th of September during the award ceremony. Every movie that was played that night  deserved an oscar. The judge had a hard decision to make. The awards recognized teachers for their creativity, effort, dedication to job. Congratulations to all the winners and participants, as well as the initiators and organizers  Vesela  and Zoran for this wonderful event.

Together with my diligent students we participated and competed into the category best classroom practice. Thanks to students and their parents' support a movie titled Healthy food was filmed into our classroom.  Students learned about healthy food through engaging, fun and game-oriented activities. They enthusiastically participated and were actively involved  into accomplishing the activities.  We were very delighted when we found out that from 52 movies we entered into the top finalist. 

The festival was part of Uciteljida, a huge educational event where 400 educators participated . Uciteljida promoted health and healthy habits offering a rich choice of sport activities. Participants could chose which sport areas they want to compete.  While playing sport games the next two days were perfect for meeting, discussing and exchanging ideas and opinions with educators mainly from Balkans.
